I think Pineapple strawberry banana would be a good drink, and good for you! Perhaps we could add some carrot juice int there for that extra health boost?CrackTheSky wrote:I have a question for you all. When I arrange the segments for this MEP, do you think it'd be better if I did it in random order or if I arranged them in the order that we edited them? I can't decide o_O

I'm for putting them in the order they were edited, so as to preserve the randomness factor. Proper flow be damned!CrackTheSky wrote:I have a question for you all. The thing is, though, this isn't supposed to be a seamless mix. Actually, it's not really going to be a mix at all - when I arrange the tracks, there will be a "title card" in front of each one denoting the editor, anime, song, and who the audio came from. So I'm not going to be mixing the tracks together as such. I'm leaning towards arranging them in order, because I do agree that it'd be better for seeing the way the MEP progresses. I may do WC's idea, though, if I get enough people voting for randomizing it.Bauzi wrote:What he said.Greggus1 wrote: Arrange them yourself, according to where each should be to make the overall project as excellent and entertaining as possible. This would produce the best result, in the end, but I guess it kind of depends on whether this is purely an experiment for you, or whether you want to see if you can put the pieces together and make something awesome.
I´m for a good mix. You know? Not too big jumps in the music genres when it´s possible.

It was suggested at some point in the development of the idea for the project. I was chatting the other night with Arashinome about it, and he suggested that putting the tracks in random order could help give it a more "improv" feel, so I just thought I'd bring it up to see what everyone else thinks. The majority definitely seems to want it to be in the order we're editing, so that's what I'm going to do.godix wrote:It never even occurred to me that you'd do anything but the order they were edited in. The entire idea behind the MEP is the order we went, why would you show it in any other way?

I don't think you should release a "randomized by crackerz" version. Credits be damned, release a zip file with all of the separate tracks all properly title carded, and queue them up in your favorite <s>winamp</s> media player and hit the shuffle button.
That can be available to the people who want it random... the rest of us want it ordered.
