By the way, theres many old bands that just have some of the best songs for AMV's

Sound Garden (80's-90's)
Vertical Horizon (90's)
Queen (80's)
Nirvana (90's)
Smashing Pumpkins (90's)

Some others... I don't feel like looking through my iPod list.

I would guess that the older bands tend to be harder to find and are therefore less available (unless you're willing to scour used music stores). Sure, some artists get their music rereleased periodically, but many are very difficult to find.

That being said. I did choose an 80's song for my latest video (see my sig), for which I incorporated a "mixed media" feel into the video.
