the name says it all. i want to know your 5 favorite openings NOT counting:

Bleach
Naruto
Full Metal Alchemist
Elfen Lied
Hellsing

Please take it serious. The thing that why i am asking you this is that i want to make new AMV's BUT i don't have so much animes. Please reply.

The music of Air TV is likely what tipped the scales in getting me to buy it. It has the most perfect sound track I have ever heard anime or otherwise.

I occasionally will enjoy a tune out of an anime opening or closing, but never has anime music actually made a difference to me like in Air TV.

Currently I am a big fan of the opening of Ah My Goddess TV1. I mean who can hate an anime tune with bagpipes? Ok I admit it, I'm scottish and it's a weakness

Death note (1st op)
Gundam Seed Destiny (#1,2 and 3. #4 is just wrong, the pace and style is completely off for a gundam series...like putting "You're beautiful" as the eva op)
Black Lagoon (1st season)

the Clannad op starts off along the lines of the Kanon(2006) and Air ops, but then picks up speed.
Please Twins op utilizes a lot of off-beats, so that caught my ear.
Death Note is more along the lines of the darker tone that I like in a song.
GSD ops are fast and exciting
Black Lagoon is fast-paced and has a great change in the pacing of the lyrics about 2/3 through

It's not an op, but the ed for Record of Lodoss War is worth mentioning
