Weeell, I was just thinking some of us will have to work quite closely, since there's a fair bit of overlap (for instance the whole c/g/c/g/c/g etc bit).
I see nobody's taken C yet, so I may be jumping the gun. Anyway, with my bits I want to have that tart from perfect blue discovering she's a serial killer, then sort of leaving her alter-ego behind and heading for pastures new.
Right, so I've got a stupid idea for using police-style photo-fit images for a couple of key transitions. If you can imagine it, you'd see the character's face, then sections (eyes/nose/mouth/hair and so on) would get replaced by the character's 'other' face (i.e the serial killer), then the next scene starts after the merged photo-fit sections disappear.
If you see what I mean.
Anyway, I thought it'd be kind of cool if we worked out these kind of things early on, since it'd be smart if I could use this transition to move between the my segments and those of whoever does C, and of course incorporate certain elements from the other editors segments... maybe.
Hmm, i think i've got myself confused now.

You know it might help, to set a conference chat. This would obviously happen after everyone's cast and set in stone of course. The conference would help a lot of editors be on the same page, and will certainly save this project a lot of thread pages for the actual project production.Greggus1 wrote:I'm totally down for discussing anything here, as this project can only flourish if we work together to make it as balanced as possible.

@ servo, I'm sure that'll be a good idea, although i suspect most of us will be keeping very different hours, so this may be a good place to hammer out a few ideas. I defer to your superior judgement though.
@ greggus
I probably know what i mean. Now go and check out my new, amazing video. You won't believe how much effort I put in!
Ahem.
'spose i'd better try harder for the mep then?

The deadlines will basically be reset according to the editors's wants when we fill up the cast (I am so tired of using that phrasing). So yes, the beta deadlines here are completely invalid, but we figured we'd leave em there so people would get an idea of their number and the separation between them.
