There's been some speculation that CLANNAD will actually turn into a 48 episode anime, with the second part dedicated to

I think that last shot seemed a lot more significant in the game, the monologue is completely different... also, you get to choose your third member in the game.
Yukine as a third member... ^^;

Yeah I actually went with tomoyo first, but I went back to the savepoint and switched with Kyou instead. I wonder how the game gets played out without Kyou, considering she was like the primary scorer (in the game at least). Though, you don't lose if you choose Tomoyo.

The movie isn't connected to the series in any way, just as Air and Air the Movie weren't either.

Bah,I don't think we'll have a second season.For a series of this type,48 episodes are too much imo...
And sorry for forgetting Tomoyo but she's on the bottom of the list.

Because most of her screen time was used for beating the crap out of Sunohara.

It's not really a recap. It's mostly an alternate retelling done by a completely different staff.

Funnily enough, from the screenshots I've seen, the animation for the series is far above that used in the movie. It's disturbingly worse :/
