lagarith normally cant play back in sync, but if you made an xvid of it it should play just fine, try that?wurpess wrote:AAAArgh. Not again. Well, for some reason, when I export in lagarith, my vid gets unsynched. (It slows the video down for some reason.) Which is why I never use it for finals. I can try uncompressed without the audio.Autraya wrote:Wurpress your huffuv has gone haywire, send me a lagarith? (it will be smaller too) feel free to zip it if you want too or cut out the audio and send as a seperate file to save space and for faster upload.

I always export from Premiere as uncompressed, put it in vdub and encode from there because I always get interlacing when I export from Premiere, even when I tell it not to. So I always deinterlace and do the final encode in vdub.Scott Green wrote:Convert your huffy/uncompressed to lagarith with vdub O:wurpess wrote:when I export in lagarith, my vid gets unsynched.
But as for the comments from everyone else, is it just the playback that gets messed up, or is it seriously the vid itself that gets fucked? (As in, once it gets put into the video editor (Premiere, Vegas, etc) with everything else, and then gets exported, will it be ok, or will it still be unsynched?)

lagarith exports always play laggy for me (as do giant huffyuvs) in wmp but they sync up just fine in premiere lol and they also don't lag during playback in premiere. If you decimate while converting that can effect sync as can changing the frame rate... it was told it was minimal but I've noticed a huge difference on action videos :[wurpess wrote:I always export from Premiere as uncompressed, put it in vdub and encode from there because I always get interlacing when I export from Premiere, even when I tell it not to. Send me a laggy or uncompressed, don't listen to Ghet and send me an xvid or I'll remove all bishies from your computer
oh wait he meant make an xvid to check that the sync works *takes bishies anyway mwahahahahahaha*
Kev: I'll keep the extra lagariths to tracks that are being replaced just incase something happenes and they don't get replaced. Kev if worst comes to worst and your in a pinch, we can always use HQ full betas for a track if you've got them. <.< >.> (now that i just contradicted my previous statement about wupress)
I also agree with your decision about the Karas track, I'm really not happy with it either, mostly useless effects, horrid colour combinations, poor visual quality (probably from all the layers over the top or using an xvid source or overfiltering, doesn't matter it which it's sitting close to kadaj's blackcat track in visual quality) and you can see the riot gear textures in points, it also looked off beat (but that could be just my wmp lagging while playing, i haven't made an xvid to watch it yet)
I 've gotta say i do prefer the black cat track (except the visual quality is ass) over the green haired weird stuff, but i think they are 2 totally different takes and styles to it *shrugs* but we saw the limit black cat could be cleaned and it wasn't enough :[
MT- no idea if they are different I didn't play the whole track, but i'll use the most recent one anyway as a safe bet
Rexy: ghost in the shell?
