Yeah I started the torrent about an hour ago, but seeing as my internet sucks I probably won't even be watching it until tomorrow, so I read the episode summary on the blogger.

I can't really tell at the moment if I'm pissed off or not. I mean it's great we are starting on Nagisa's arc, but... feh, there's been a lot of talk about this episode because it just goes to show that they opted to rush some girl's arcs over making an OVA or season 2.

ep 18 - this was way TOO rushed.

It's really bad to see that Kanon,who managed to fit in 12 episodes,got a remastered version of 24 episodes while Clannad,which had the option of going to second season or getting some OVAs,became too rushed after Fuko's arc.It's a pity really and this episode kinda ruined me...

And so we enter Nagisa's arc with 6 episodes left...

It's been theorized that while Tomoyo's arc has reached a definite conclusion, the Kyou/Ryo arc may still have something left, though personally I doubt this, considering how the episode ends :/

Would be nice if it were the case, but it's not gonna happen :'<

Hell yes! Tomoya x Nagisa has finally started. I've been waiting for this from the start. :3
About the other girls... well, they might (most likely will) still play some important role in the next eps. I'm ok for quickly ending their arcs, if it means more Nagisa love. ^^

Almost forgot: also waiting for some development (any direction) in Tomoyo & father relationship since it seems like it's heading this way too.

From the perspective of a guy who hasn't played the game, ep. 18 didn't feel rushed at all.
