Whats the best way to capture video?
What is the best way for me to capture video supposing that I don't have a capture card and I can't play DVD's on my computer? Is there anything I can do?

nope, not really...unless you have a friend that has a dvd drive in their computer.
dvd drives are cheap, you can pick one up for the price of a dvd (or even less)

There's also some pretty cheap devices that allow you to hook up a DVD player or game console with the proper video cable. And then, in turn plugs into a USB port. They tend to be pretty poor quality though, and really only useful for actual video capture from a non-DVD source. If your gonna pull source clips from a DVD, just get a drive. It'll save you money and provide a better quality video source. Internals are cheaper and generally faster, but externals are easy to hook up. Good luck.
