i like the fight of yusuke vs sensui, and when yusuke make his transformation.
as i like the yusuke vs raizen (his father), and yomi fights, as his sun fights.
near to the end of the song it has a track that combine to the part that yusuke changes his form. so from this part to the end, i'm thinking showing this fights shorts cuts, but maybe this broke some storyline that the amv follow...
of corse i'll only really know my anwsers trying. but i'm near to begging, and when i start i'll put a link for plp can listen the song, and maybe sugest something.
i hope some yu yu fan may give some sugest in future.

I'm a yu yu fan. I have a question not a suggestion. Why are you killing off all the main characters at the very beginning of the video? You're talking about using Yusuke's fights - are you planning to resurrect him (and the rest of the cast)? Or is the mass-death a foreshadowing for how the video ends?

Personally, I don't like deathfics. It's nice if Yusuke ends up in a peaceful "heaven" field at the end, but I prefer having him a live. The same goes for the rest of the cast. If I know they're all going to die, there's no point watching.

And since you're using Whisper as your inspiration - Whisper took a beloved character who died and made out like he'd lived. That's why so many Naruto fans liked it. You're taking beloved characters who lived and making out like they all died. I don't think most YYH fans are going to like that.

let me explain better.
thnks for your point of view, i sure it's correct, if i make all character dies.
the begging of the song, is something like "drama, or melodic, tragidy"... so i will combine scenes that genkai corpses is dead by toguro, and the others char will be stay on ground, hurted, closed eyes, as like dead... and the girls of anime and koema, will not happy... feeling the teams and genkai pains.
it's a nostagic and tragic begging that really happend on anime.
after that, it's like the amv show it it occours... until the end, that shows like yusuke only dreaming about it. it's like an amv with implied things.

Wow... I've never seen someone so excited about a project that they actually went and started telling everyone about it BEFORE they made a beta.

And your even asking for sugguestions BEFORE we have anything to look at. You dont even let us see the song yet you expect sugguestions for your scene layouts?

I dont understand the point of this thread other then the fact that your overly excited and in some of the statements bragging.

Arashinome made has made a couple of good ones and I think they are rly good

if your going to make a "whisper of the beast" yu yu hakusho video.......good luck...you'll need to know after effects inside out >_>...maybe not everything..but stuff please all those yu yu hakusho dvds will come in handy for footage ey? O:

I can say i wouldn't think it would get the reception that whisper of the beast did because...well it did alot of new things..but this will be a clone (if that) that just takes parts of it and just implant ideas into your own.

I see you haven't made any amvs either (or non hosted on the org) couldn't see any info on you...so all i can gather from this topic is that you are a beginner amver who would most likely use wmm...or maybe even Imovie (gasp) and might think that after effects is easy.........................before you start going on about how amazing this amv is...maybe a beta would prove yourself to more people...
