Yea, because the judges weren't allowed to put in their own choices as well... oh, wait. they were.xmode wrote:First of all, u should call it not JCA but a Semi-Finalist's Choice Award. I think, there's no need to explain the difference.

First of all? This contest has been going on for months, and you bring this up in the thread that is announcing the final winners? little late to the game :Pxmode wrote:First of all, u should call it not JCA but a Semi-Finalist's Choice Award. I think, there's no need to explain the difference.

Who would have thought not even Yuri could get you on the judges boardNessephanie wrote:First of all? But i tend to agree with Vlad's original comment abt JCA>VCA - i think they are both on par - its simply an alternate view-point. My only suggestions for next year would be a fourth judge which allowed for videos made by one of the other judges. Because personally i just don't think a judge should be in a position to judge his/her own work. But you might have already used Koop or someone else to overcome that problem. Otherwise i'm very happy with the chosen judges 3 very different ppl is always good.
---
If you ask me though, every single year the VCA video of the year has been "The Video of the Year"
*one day something with some effort will reside here*

Nice choices on the JCAs, I only have literally 3 different opinions on videos that were selected, but I still must say nice job done by the judges.
It's good to have some professional opinions alongside the voice of the masses...wish I could have become a judge for this one, as I do so for AMVs made in my country for local competitions, but I have no chance, seeing who have been selected for the JCA. I'll be content with the VCAs for the while, maybe when I get something better than dialup to use, I can be of more use to the site in general.
