The red text? I have been told that there was nothing I could do about that. As for all the other text, there's a limit to how high I could push the resolution before Premiere coughed and said "No way." If there's some method I should have used to keep all my vector artwork/text crystal clear, I'd like someone to point me in the right direction because I made a thread awhile back specifically asking about this problem and the consensus seemed to be that I couldn't do anything about it. Now the consensus seems to be that there was something I could have done about it?? Ok, WHAT? I anticipate using text in future projects, so this knowledge would be most appreciated.CodeChrono wrote:It was kind of a hit and miss with me.
*Text was fuzzy and could have been much cleaner
p.s. @ FC: The Ghostbusters logo fade thingies...pretty much an emergency measure because I could not get the scenes (every last one of them) they sit on top of to sync. I'm not thrilled about it myself, but it was the only thing I could come up with to improve upon a bad situation. This is one of many items that, if I’d had better uploading capabilities, I would have asked for advice about.
I have to say, what I am really...enjoying about everyone's feedback is that it all pretty much reflects the pros and cons I see in my own AMV. I know the challenges I faced with this project (oh here we go, waxing poetic) so I look at the situation from a different angle, but I'm still seeing the same things a lot of other people are. This is good, because it means I learned something from making this AMV and that I can hopefully do better in the future.
I guess I can say this now....
'Bustin gets a 3.5 from me: The concept and some of the graphics are the major redeeming qualities, but that's about as far as this AMV goes. Even the concept could have been elevated to another level, effects are nothing to write home about, presentation is uneven and struggles at times, toss the red text if won't render render properly, use more layered of footage, rearrange the amount of screen time everyone gets, ditch the Latin, give all the jokes more air time, destroy the "lip sync" and don't fade out the song so soon. *deep breath* What you end up with is an AMV that is not 'Bustin, but that's ok, because theoretically it would be a better AMV.
