70 megs for video, but 190 megs of audio?

Post by Dagda » Wed Feb 27, 2008 12:18 pm

I got my hands on the footage I needed for an amv, but it was badly deinterlaced, so I rolled up my sleeves and started learning to use avisynth. I've gotten a working script:
AviSource("C:\Berserk - 25.avi")
Telecide(order=1,guide=1,post=2,vthresh=30)
Decimate(5)
Msmooth(strength=7,threshold=10,mask=false,debug=false)
. . .but when I try to save an AVI using Vdubmod I run into the problem mentioned in the title. I'm hoping to save some space here, and I just need this footage for video, but I can't figure out how to drop the audio portion- clicking and greying out the speaker icon in the Streams section doesn't seem to get rid of the data. Anything I can do, with avisyth or virtualdubmod?

KillAudio

PS: I just read your whole script. Better quality footage.

Great, thanks. No time to order DVDs, I'm trying to work fast to meet a deadline.
