To make your video under the 100MB limit, there is really no replacement for the new amvapp and the new eadfag
OK My.NET framework isn't upgrading (having the same error even with my scriptblocker off) so I cannot use the new versions of amvapp so I reverted back to 2.5 (sad) Unless that is OK for now.

And you're not updating your .net framework... why exactly?

At the moment I'm trying to correct all my .NET frameworks, which is proving the most difficult task yet. I've attempted a clean install (all the way back to 1.0) and its failing hardcore. I think I'm missing the advantages of .NET frameworks for support of certain software.

OH and a little added notation, I was recording my video at 848x480 (Large 16x9 formats) and figured out if I lowered the resolution, (because of the high quality video and my resolution is 1280x1024) It dropped down to 48 MB.

you don't need to reinstall version1 of .net framework
just install version 2 (and 3 if you are so inclined) over it.

I think meGUI/Zarx264GUI only need .net framework v2

if you play around with avisynth a bit (and encode with x.264) you should be able to keep your nice 848x480 res
monitor resolution doesn't have any impact on the file size (the video's resolution will, as you found out)

Thanks I'll try to upgrade the .net frameworks, and keep updating what I can do. For now, I'll have to live with the lower res video process until my .NET frameworks can be upgraded when I can figure out what's making it error out.

Just a humble viewer here that has no hope in hell of ever being an artist. But to give you a bit of advice from your potential audience.

Remember this. If you try to be toooo clever, and use toooo many spiffy special effects too much, you end up with a creation that isn't art, but a demonstration of "gee look at all I learned about my editing software".

The effects don't make the amv art, YOU do. So make sure the effects actually contribute, and not merely dazzle. I've actually disliked some vids that had too damn many clever effects.

Sometimes it's all about being smart enough to know just what anime clips compliment the current segment of the song, and not about how niffty you made the clip segment look.

My most recent enjoyed vid is

Title: DANSU
Premiered: 2006-12-16
Categories:

Song:
* Foggy Come Into My Dream

And its mainly because the video just works so damn well with the song.
This amv is an excellent example of what a 6 looks like.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

now on a sidenote

why would you want to export at .01 frame per second more?

secondly, the NTSC standard for televisions is 29.97, i think a computer can pretty much play anything up to 60fps(The frame rate the computer screen runs at iirc)

Correction, Pinnacle Studios Plus says 29.97 and 24(?)... Guessing it means I cant do what people would appreciate in a video: smooth sophisticated quality. Pity.

Does not tell me what program to use Inverse Telecine or the 3:2 pulldown And Avid's Pinnacle Studio appears to do only 29.97 and 25 FPS... Considering my care value in quality (which is exactly thoughtless and proving bad for my own eyes) I shunned myself in thinking the quality of my vids will prove POOR. However... I haven't heard much about the sample being bad quality yet.

Hope people want HDTV quality soon, I can format at 1080pi ... :3
