wouldnt that make the filesize waaaay huge? (on the final)Eva-Fan wrote:I can't really give you a date but yeah it shouldnt be too much longer.Ishbalan wrote:So, is the public release soon?
Oh btw, My lag codec was reading some of the tracks wrong probably due to different versions.
I rendered uncompressed versions of all the tracks and I think some of the syncs were fixed. Not all the tracks were being read wrong but i did them all just to be safe.

No not really. All the uncompressed files are sure taking up alot of space on my lappy though and its buggin me. I've got plenty of room to render an uncompressed of the MEP still so I can run it through my mp4 program; But I want this all finished ASAP cause the space its eating/saving is killing me.Ghet wrote:wouldnt that make the filesize waaaay huge? Quick Update:
Getting a better version of the Tsukihime track so the quality remains good throughout the MEP visually. Credits still not finished cause I was really busy this weekend and I'll be drunk for most of next weekend at a friends 21st bday party.
I know there are a few people and the editors waiting for the release of this but I wont be releasing it till everyones satisfied so don't be surprised if it turns out to be longer then your expecting. Might feel like I'm just dragging this thing out there but I really just want everyone that editted in it to be happy with it. It's my only concern.

In all honesty, I'm not too happy with many tracks. Especially that one track, I do believe it was track four or so.. The one that lacked motion and had some typography going on around (as far as I can remember, because I had seen it at a netcafe the day you sent it out and don't have it right now - might be talking about the wrong track, but you probably get which one that is). Out of some mediocre yet acceptable tracks in the mep, this was the one that I believe really needs replacement.Eva-Fan wrote:I know there are a few people and the editors waiting for the release of this but I wont be releasing it till everyones satisfied so don't be surprised if it turns out to be longer then your expecting. actually I thought way back when, it was mentioned that this was a band tribute MEP and a certain calibur of editor wasn't required just that people do their best... or something... I could be talking shit btw.
Besides I'm already going on Gothik so I need Eva to get his HDD space back and release this.... Yannis I will blame you if he delays again. Why? because if its delayed for a replacement track that you didn't like then you should IC yer ass off and make one
Alternatively I could just start spanking people?
new banzors in the making :p

I wont be removing tracks unless an editor chooses to have his/her track taken out of the MEP themselves.Cast to Stone wrote:In all honesty, I'm not too happy with many tracks. This MEP was mainly just a tribute to DF's fast beats. I felt that Action suited it the best obviously. I wasn't asking for the best editors around, in fact i think some of the fairly new editors to a-m-v.org did a pretty decent job on their tracks. Just a short and simple MEP for DF cause I like their songs... I mean face it... No one wants to seriously edit to 6-8 minutes of one song from DF.
So like i said, no tracks will be deleted unless they ask for it to happen. All MEP's have their ups and downs / best and worst tracks.
