Getting a sex change in the "real world" would make you a transvestite. And a transvestite doesn't like girls.

fyi transvestite = wear clothes of opposite sex, eg Eddie Izzard (who is straight, and confusingly describes himself as a "male lesbian"
transsexual = sex change due to body / mind difference. Most people that get sex change operations always mentally identify themselves as the opposite gender to what they are physically born with and have the operation to correct a genetic error. Their orientation is entirely separate.

When I first read the comment, I thought it sounded "off".

We don't have transvestites, so I had some trouble deciding if they were right in that statement

I pondered the original comment because a person could conceivably think they should have been born the other gender just as easily as having a preference that could be for either gender.

What I liked about Kashimashi, was it explored what a guy become girl would do with pre existing relationships. The guy isn't going to automatically think like a girl just because he becomes one. It was funny seeing how the girls had to show him how to act like one

Heh, I'm attempting to follow it =P, but it just goes by so fast each day, though I think I'm pretty much caught up with most of it now

I used to follow the forum (xris is local to me and ran my old anime soc), under this name, but fell out of it aaaages ago.
