Dont get me wrong, i dont hate Clannad. I do enjoy every episode in terms of comedy really, but without much else theres nothing to really look forward to, especially when a chunk of the story has been hacked out.

You're right, everything can't be resolved in only one episode. That's where we hope for KyoAni in making a second season that deals with the After Story arc which fully completes the story of Clannad. And it's that arc is where Tomoya's and Nagisa's character gets developed the most.

Ok, well I just finished watching episode 21.

I have to say, despite all my misgivings about how things will turn out, and the sudden shift in attitude towards Clannad among fans over the recent episodes, I really did enjoy this a lot.

It's possibly due to the fact that I played the game and went onto Nagisa's arc, which for me was really emotional.

At this point I think that I'll reserve my judgement for after I watch the final episode, then post my thoughts on the series.

A season 2 at this point is looking more and more possible, so I'm hoping they will go with that after their current projects.

If not, well, it's been a good ride, I hope they can at least do Nagisa's arc justice (and I'm sure they will)

I'll write my thoughts about Clannad TV after I will have watched the the last eps.
But I'm thinking right now that there won't be a second season and the after story will just get some minutes of the last eps. Would be stupid to put scenes of the after story in the op of the first season, when they want to make a second one :/
although I hope for an appearance of Fuuko in teh last eps O:
