looking to get together with yalls creators so I can start picking your brains on how to do stuff now that i done started makin' amvs myself. Crappy part is that i'm staff and cant compete cool part is you get to see my vids anyway because there is a non compete staff category. so be on the lookout for my vids I have one premiering at AB this time around once it premeres I'll put it up here for DL

The con rapidly approaches! I have to pack
In any case here's the list of AMV-related events:
Thursday (3/20)
8PM - AMV Editor Dinner @ The Cheesecake Factory. RSVP thread is on the AB Forum. Staff involved in the contest welcome.
Friday (3/21)
5PM - AMV101/201 Panels @ Room 309 or so. It's one of the big ones. Come hear me, Borihei, Songbird21, Kiarrens, and BasharoftheAges drop knowledge. AMV101 will be 60 minutes, AMV201 will be 90 minutes. Good times!
9PM - AMV Contest First Screening @ Main Events
Saturday (3/22)
8AM - AMV Editor Breakfast @ Starbucks (in the Sheraton lobby, near the South elevators). We'll be walking over to the con at 8:45 or so.
9AM - AMV Contest Second Screening @ Main Events
10PM - The HAMV Contest @ Video 203
~10:30PM - AMV Awards Ceremony @ Main Events (note: contingent on the Masq running on time... so expect this to be late.)
Midnight or so - Critique Session/Pizza Party. We'll be going to my room, eating pizza, and talking shop. This is meant to be for the benefit of people whose videos did not make the finals to hear from others what they can do to improve. At least one AB staffer who was on the pre-screening team will be present. Tentatively meeting up at the Info Desk around 11:30PM, find me during the con for more information.
Sunday (3/23)
10AM - AMV Contest Wrapup Panel. Traditionally Adam hosts a panel w/ the winners of the contest (at least those who are at the con), shows the winners, and discusses what does and doesn't work in terms of submissions. Given that there were a record 130+ entries this week he should have a lot to talk about.
Additionally, because of the large number of entries this year, Overflow has been split by category across the weekend:
Fun/Upbeat/Other - Friday, 3:30PM, Room 310
Action - Friday, 8:45PM, Room 310
Comedy - Saturday, 10:45AM, Room 310
Romance - Saturday, 5:45PM, Room 310
Drama - Sunday, 9AM, Room 204

The new "semi-official" schedule that came out just a little while after this was posted puts the wrap-up panel @ 10AM on Sunday in Panel C, so it's all sorted out.

Who won the HMV contest?
Maybe this is the wrong place to put this question, but I had an AMV entered as a finalist in the Hentai Video Contest and I'm interested in finding out who won...in addition to other categories as well. Now since I haven't recieved an e-mail about it I suppose that I didn't win, but I'd at least like to see who did.
