I'm glad you guys like the last episode and the series overall because it seems that the other places I go to like AnimeOnDVD and 'suki, the people's opinions are really divergent. For the most part, they really expected a "BAWWWW" fest like Air or Kanon, but like it has been emphasize many times that Clannad is really a different beast.

I also just finished watching ep22 although I have downloaded it since Saturday.And yeah,it was a very fulifilling ending.It covered everything,from the play to the Nagisa x Tomoya couple.I couldn't have asked for anything more...^^

I could feel tears in my eyes while Nagisa's father was yelling at her and then Sanae-san and Tomoya took turn with it.It's damn true that a lot of parents have given up on their dreams to make a family and only the children's happiness can make up for it.
And the confession was also very nicely shown.The black fades,the colors,everything.

And as Chikabbom said,simple story but amazing execution.Still Kanon is above Clannad for me.^^

Now what filler footage to expect from the following 2 specials?

Hope they'll be good ones and provide nice footage for the tons of Clannad amvs we'll slowly but surely start to watch...

I watched it a few days ago. Wah! I cried. Such a perfect ending. I have no more to say. Except go Dad! (Nagisa's dad)

considering that it was how Nagisa's arc ends in the game (at least for the first part, the After Story is a whole 'nother story)

pretty much everything goes downhill after this point. Nagisa gets sick and has to repeat her last year alone. Then of course there's the ending in the After Story. God damnit, Clannad still has so much to offer ;A;

They better make a season 2

I wasn't expecting a kiss, considering the 2 people we are talking about here ;p

but, I rather liked how it ended. although I wish they explored more into the guy's relationship with his dad. that seemed completely unresolved.

Still I give Clannad 2

Now I wish more True Tears would hurry up and release >.>
