When you tried to bring in that VOB file, did you use DirectShowSource?

That works for me.

Sweet looking. :roll:

Have you tried ripping the file off the DVD again? It's one of those things you always hate to suggest, but I dunno what would cause that.

Hm...out of curiosity, did you check to see if you had the latest ASPI layer mentioned in this guide? I know the guide says you need it to rip properly, so maybe it could affect something like this? I'm probably way off base, but this is how I problem solve. I think of whatever I can that might possibly cause a problem and then check it out. It's become habitual from confronting Muphy's Law every time I try to make a video. :?

So yea, take whatever I say from here-on-out with a grain of salt. Someone here (read: lots of someones >_>) know more than I do.

Yeah, seriously.

Yeah, I've tried probably 10 times. D;

I downloaded the ASPI yesterday and kept trying. Still didn't work. Dx

Hang on, I think I found part of your problem. You're referencing the VOB file on the DVD. You should be ripping the VOB files off the DVD and onto your hard drive. After you do that, point DGIndex/VirtualDubMod to the file on your hard drive.

By the way, I say you're telling DGIndex to reference the DVD because of this.

and this:

Both are referencing your D drive.

Yep. This is why I wanted to see the screenshots.

You're getting the green crap because the vob files on the DVD are still encrypted.

Index from your ripped vobs on your harddrive.

Seriously, it always ends up being the simple things. It took me so long to notice that little detail in the pics. @_@ lol
