Post by Ryko89 » Sat Feb 09, 2008 5:29 pm

I have GiTS with eng dub but I want the quality to be.. sexier. so if any of you have a nice script for GiTS then that'd be sweet.

here's a link to a snapshot from the anime:

I only have 2 scripts that I use but I don't have ones for specific animes but you are welcome to try either of them but if these don't help you could ask kevmasta I hear he is really good at scripting

converttoyv12()
fielddeinterlace()
Undot()
Deen("w2d",3,4,6)
TemporalCleaner()
VagueDenoiser(threshold=2.5)
aWarpSharp(depth=8)
BiFrost(interlaced=false)
Tweak(sat=1.1)
fastlinedarken(strength=60)
Crop(4,4,-4,-4)
Lanczosresize(640,480)

ok here is the second one I use
converttoyv12()
Undot()
deen("w2d",2,4,4)
deblock()
vaguedenoiser()
aWarpSharp(depth=9)
fastlinedarken(strength=50)
tweak(cont=1, sat=1)
ColorYUV(gain_u=1)
Crop(4,4,-4,-4)
Lanczosresize(640,480)
fielddeinterlace()

Those are overkill for so many sources... You should really base the scripts you use on the DVDs they're working on.

Hey, where is a good spot to learn all these scripts? It looks so complicated. Is there some kind of tutorial?

best way to learn is to play around with it. The script you'll end up using will differ fepending on what your source is. The amvapp comes with a lot of plugins (but you'll probably still need to download a few)

try stuff out, make a thread here if you need help/want suggestions

Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>, it has a section on avisynth that'l help you out some as well
