Well, after hearing about this from a few people, I come back here to find that it is indeed true. Which sucks. I hate to see Scott go, but I do understand completely. I honestly can't berate him for this, since I pretty much did the same. Sure I'll miss seeing new stuff from him, but like DW said, he'll still be a friend no matter what he decides to do. I only wish I'd had made it to one of the cons and had a chance to meet him before this happened. Take care of yourself Scott, and good luck in whatever you decide to do.

I'm not surprised for anyone to leave this hobby. I know editors still going but lack the joy of anime they use to have.
With editing, you make something creative and later you think to yourself that you could of done something, well more creative. I usually can't watch an amv anymore without feeling I've seen something just like it. Sometimes it feels like I'm watching something made by Stuart Larkin.
He did do two videos I like a lot and found a lot of creativity in, maybe he's just moving on to see what he can do that may be more original or something. From what I can tell this hobby is just too repetitive for him right now, and keeping him from doing other things he needs to be doing.
Lol, I gave up television because it was eating my time and giving me excuses not to go out and do things besides waisting my time in front of a television. I still watch movies and play games when I feel they aren't getting in the way of other things. Go get some vitamin D people.
I always am at the edge of this hobby, I come back, always around the corner, but who knows what can happen to change that. But it might take a lot to keep me from, same as television. Every now and then I like to go back and enjoy it, and amvs for me is a creative outlet. So good times, but like I said, go out and get some vitamin D people, especially you WoW players.

I love how you turn a thread about the loss of someone else into a place to wank about your own personal situationx_rex30 wrote:I'm not surprised for anyone to leave this hobby. I know editors still going but lack the joy of anime they use to have.
