After Effects error: overflow coverting ratio denominators

Can someone tell me what this is? I have been searching all over the net for an hour now, and cant seem to find a straight answer.

The total message is:
After Effects error: overflow coverting ratio denominators. ( 17 :: 18 )

And it happens everytime i try to do something in AE CS3 (After having loaded my Premiere Project file / Also happens if i upload entire episodes into AE).

People seem to think that it only happens in CS3, some say its because of the framerate changing to a retarded number, others say i need to "purge" AE.

I have tried the purging and it doesn't work, would be awesome to have some help in removing this error.

And ye, i never had this error in AE 7.0, but it's lacking alot of the effects i like to work with.

Is your source using a lossless codec?

Nope, it's DivX but should that really matter, considering that i have used compressed footage before in AE, also, the project file works perfectly fine in Premiere. (But i cant really compare those two now can i)

The issue is not a lack of computer power or space either.

It may well have something to do with that. Editing programs are usually way pissy with DivX/XviD. You may want to convert them and then try again. I have no idea what that error is (never heard of it), but those codecs don't cooperate with editors.

Roger that, good to know.

Also, i have searched on the problem on google and such, and it seems that alot of people get the error. But anyway, i'll try that, else i'll just have to ask again.

It's just good general knowledge to keep in mind (and that will hopefully fix your problem).
