Upload ftp error

ive followed moonslayers guide and im stuck on ftping it. i go to the ftp URL and imput user name and pass and 10 min later it asks again. its an endless cycle. Oh i also have filezilla but that wont connect either. please help.

make sure that any firewall(s) you may have are set to low or off

in filezilla, you can try to see if passive mode works (edit, settings, firewall settings)

if it still doesn't work, try typing in your given username/password manually (very deliberately and carefully). There's been more than one time where it wouldn't accept a copy/pasted username/password for me.

ive turned off firewall now it says incorrect login

It won't connect and then it retrys over and over

did you remember to turn your firewall(s) off? (or at least to a low/file sharing setting)
