What do you consider a "turn-off"?

Honestly when AMV's have a song that bores me, which is mostly instrumental songs with lots of repetitive beats. No matter what I always find the video boring even if the editing's great. and KARAS videos usually piss me off the most because they're always matched with these boring instrumental beat sync song

For me is overused footage. I wouldn't care if you use the anime everybody knows and have seen, just don't use the same clips that all the other amvs use. Ex: Haruhi or Lucky star dances.

yea those haruhi and lucky star dance scenes piss me off too. I actually don't mind DBZ or Naruto AMVs but those dance scenes are just annoying to watch over and over again

Technical problems do not turn me off. Everyone's new sometime and some things you just have to learn through experience. The most important thing to me in an AMV is that it has a purpose. I'm not interested in random images thrown on a screen. I particularly like ones that bring up a point that might not have been that obvious in the anime.
