What do you consider a "turn-off"?

Oh yeah...

And the lack of originality in AMVs. That's a big one.

Whenever I watch an AMV, I always give it 30 secs before I decide to either "Alt-F4", or be interested enough to watch the entire thing. A video without a hook, 9.5/10 will end up in the recycle bin for me.

Hey everyone~Xiao is back!
So, I was curious as to what you people, the general public, think of as a "turn off" in AMVs. Basically, anything that will tick you off and say an AMV is bad.

I guess you could say that anything that even hints at the possibility that a video was made from fansub source is a turn off for me in the same way that getting a tank and firing a three megaton nuke at the computer monitor that had the misfortune of showing it would be a good way to turn it off.

Random stupid graphics in vids that pop up for no reason whatsoever and makes you wonder just exactly what the editor was thinking when they decided to put cut-out bunnies and stars and flowers flying all over the place when they're not syncing or adding anything to the overall feeling of the vid.
