Volume 13 (the extra one) confirmed that it was her who died.

Oh wow but it looked exactly like her. How xdid they confirm that Misa died? ANyways, does anyone know if the creator of Death Note will be coming out with any future anime? His work is so amazing and stands out completely from all the other manga writers.

Well, the illustrator and writer for Death Note are 2 different people.

Yeah the artist did Hikaru no Go as well (artist and writer 2 diff people as well)
