I like pizza where the toppings go right to the very edge. And I generally think more than 4 toppings is really just over kill, you have to pick for and just go with them.
What do you mean that wasn't relevant?
Oh, would it help if I said I watch amvs just for the anime girls? Gotta have lots and lots of anime girls. Especially ones showing their underwear, and of course ones with bouncing breasts. Girls with nothing on at all is a definite plus.
What, that was too honest? What exactly are you looking for?

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

so ka.
the type of info i was looking for was what godix burned my eyes with. thanks for your insight. was useful.
i'm still interested in knowing the processes that amv vets go through when planning out the concept of the amv's though so if you have a different process, share it. i want to find which process is most efficient for me through trial and error.
i've got a much better idea now and after reading here, makes me realise how misleading the comments on youtube are. cause i was thinking for a long time how some vids on there with completely random zoom and camera effects combined with absolute shitty cheesy moose dion music, synced to a point where i feel blair witch dizzy can get full ratings with thousands of "wow. that was great!" type comments!!! i just could not understand how the fudge these people were getting viewers like that but now i realise... some like their amvs like that and that i'm not crazy to not like it.
as for what concept i'm playing with, i didn't specify to not go off topic but since someone asked, i'm playing with the serious/tragedy/love (but definately not emo) type amv. i'll post something sometime and hopefully you'll view it by chance and remember my name and think "ah, that noob wasn't a youtube douchebag afterall" heh
i just wanted some feedback (harsh criticism actually) so i can learn to improve. that's why i'm looking like a f00! asking for information.

You tried to trick me with your entry form! When I saw it i was thinking 3 minutes length and I was like why is this download so small. Once I looked at the video title....godix wrote:Hey now, this years video is over double the length of last years!outlawed wrote:godix wrote:Here's a few things to consider about concept:

Make videos longer than 4 seconds. godix still does not proscribe to this theory.
I guess I better update the PDF next year to indicate hh:mm:ss =p
