Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

MEP's are sucking more and more these days. And this is project is a testament to that. I mean honestly it had some of the best track in it that I've seen in a while. Back to back to some of the worst. Makes me sad =/

Also this also shows allot of people have a very shitty taste for music.
You'll get crap for saying this just because everyone knows it's so true.
Well, checking out people in this thread saying good things about it, 90% of them seemed to have worked on it, so I'm taking what they are saying with a grain of salt. I'm more interested in the people who didn't work on it and what they have to say about it before I just check it out instead of relying on the opinions of the creators.

At least I'm not seeing a shit load of the people who worked on the mep giving it a op with perfect scores.

Now I haven't seen it yet so I can't say if it's good or not. May check it out later.

It has its gems, but as a whole it's mediocre.

Yeah, proabably because you and everyone else that makes these statements never actually participates in any MEPs.

Just because I don't participate in MEP's that are based in the org MEP section. Doesn't mean I don't actually participate in MEP's. You'd be surprised ;)

First off I'd love a chance to be in the second one, seems like a lot of fun.

I was kind of let down by this project though. I don't understand how people with a week of time managed to produce something that looked like it was edited in about an hour. The quality of editing was very disappointing for most although there was a handful of decent tracks in there. Godix's made me laugh though
I also don't understand why the editors didn't cut their songs better. A lot of them just came to a stop suddenly. Its not TOO difficult to edit audio and I think it would have been nice if more editors took the time to do this well.

3/5 for being at least mildly amusing at times :/

Okay so that kinda bored me. It was like random betas to random songs. it felt like a AMV hell wannabe, 'cept that there was some more 'serious' songs, there was 1 or 2 tracks that lightly amused my eyes. thought it could've been pulled off better. I'll have to say im with Niosex on this one.

and what's up with the go-to-black track info? :?

I think enjoyment of the project depends very much on your knowledge of the editors in the project. This was an experiment more than anything else, and for people interested in seeing the results, it's uploaded to the org. In that sense, from the very beginning of the project, the point was never quality, but experimenting-which can go good or bad.

Ben, feel free to expand on that.

x2...Exactly, is an experiment, Greggus1 talk about something important "depends very much on your knowledge of the editors in the projec" many of the editors I know its AMV, as published, so that makes this MEP for me simply brilliant, original and special!

Just have to change their perception of the MEP, consepto as a whole!
