your best bet is to experiment and use the before and after line script to your advantage... however these questions should go in the avisynth forum and not be attached to this thread.
beforeafterline(1,"""filter01.filter02.filter03""")
remove filter01.filter02.filter03 and replace them with your filters. You can add as many as you want as long as you separate them with periods. (.) also be sure to do any cropping/resizing before this filter and don't render your video file with this filter still in it it will render the line in there so just remove it and replace it with your filters when you are done.
this is the sort of thing it gives you.

hey, i was trying to make an amv, using my .avi files. These don't work in vegas, so i convert them to DV-AVI video, 29 frames per second, 4:3 ratio, 720x480 pixels, and 30 mb/s. I opened this in sony vegas, and i find that the video is so laggy, and glitchy when i have 3 to 4 clips going at a fast rate after another (the beat's fast so i switch them fast) but i can only see a couple of them in the preview box. Can anyone help my problem?

Section VIII: READ
DO NOT USE XVID/DIVX FILES IN VEGAS VIDEO OR ANY VIDEO EDITING PROGRAM.
You will, in a 99.9% chance, HAVE A PLAYBACK ISSUE. So, instead, either re-encode the file in something over that xvid/divx or NOT USE THE FILE AT ALL.

everything about this posts says you need to Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>mueller7792 wrote:hey, i was trying to make an amv, using my .avi files. KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.

I dont know how to describe this effect, best I could think of is some sort of echo?here's the video I saw the effect.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwxgUVDTSRI
1:50-1:52
I've always wondered how to do this effect. Is it just simply having two layers and messing around with panning or track motion?or is it something else?

Think I've had the same problem as you,get the other version from this link(in the quote)mueller7792 wrote:happened again, amv app doesn't allow my sony vegas to run. anyone know why?
mines worked fine after that, previously it would load but get to the plugins part of the loading bar, stop and say error and close :\Kariudo wrote:strange, directshowsource is an internal filter...so it should be there
try uninstalling just aivsynth, and then get version 2.5.6 from here (get the .exe, it's under 2.5.6a)
2.5.7 should work as well, but some members have had random green bar problems with 2.5.7 (to which the workaround was to get 2.5.6)
