Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The effort of putting this together was too much for eva-fan and he's sleeping in a vodka induced coma to recover (little does he know I stole all his vodka and replaced it with water).
Windows tells me it will take 31 hours to dload :\ I hate being capped.
I'll edit with comments later
@Paranoir why would you think Yannis was the coord?

I read somewhere, dont remember where, that the bitate to avoid macro blocks completely on x264 is 300+kb/sec so i set the average to 350kb/sec and this was the outcome.
This was my first time coordinating an MEP and I learned alot. I think part of the reason the MEP is the way it is is my fault. I kept telling everyone I was looking for motion sync / flow and I think that this may have been holding them back from their own styles. Like I said though, I learned alot of do's and don'ts for If I ever run an MEP again.
If I were to of watched this and I weren't the coordinator, I would of probably given it a 7/10. Not amazing but not bad either.
I'm proud of everyone, TBH everyone kept the flow of video with the audio pretty even which is what I wanted. Some people synced better with internal sync some with external. Overall good job, especially to the people who were still semi new to editing at the time.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Ohay, I miss for a week and that's what happens behind my back?
From what I had seen it ought to be okay, not very good but not bad either. Downloading. O:
Also, I think paranoir meant that she thought I was one of the members of the mep, which I am, I just wasn't here to accept the invitation thing.

I had a big grin on my face the whole time... thinking to myself: I do in fact like this, in all its cheesy glory.

Wow, I'm surprised so many people explicitly liked my track (I did the first one, Death Note): thanks a lot
I'm thinking of doing another DN track later on, a full AMV with way more time put into it
GJ to everyone who stayed with the MEP though!

Bumping the thread for no apparent reason.
Glad to see Eva finally got this released. A lot of org members, especially the ones helped edit, were waiting on pins and needles (and believe me, that really hurts).
Not that I'm blaming Eva for taking too long. He had the hardest job of all of us and there's always of course the personal life. And I was pretty impressed by his transitioning in the final version. Most of the segments go together pretty smoothly IMO.
Thanks for making us look good, Eva (or, at least, slightly better)!
