I've always wondered how to do this effect. Is it just simply having two layers and messing around with panning or track motion?or is it something else?
ugh that was an icky video O.o
but yea its just messing with panning and opacity from what i can tell...

Think I've had the same problem as you,get the other version from this link(in the quote) :)

try uninstalling just aivsynth, and then get version 2.5.6 from here (get the .exe, it's under 2.5.6a)

2.5.7 should work as well, but some members have had random green bar problems with 2.5.7 (to which the workaround was to get 2.5.6)
mines worked fine after that, previously it would load but get to the plugins part of the loading bar, stop and say error and close :\
Thanks, i'll try later :D

Um when I render my video in vegas and play it back in VLC media player this happens...

Image

these are my rendering settings I think(first time rendering, and dont really know how this works so just copied the description box :\)

Audio: 48,000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, PCM Uncompressed.
Video: 29.97 fps, 720x480, Lower field first.
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 0.909. OpenDML compatible.
NTSC DV video files compatible with Sony Video Capture.

I've cleaned the footage, cropped and resized it before using. The screenshot is whats happening when I preview it before cleaning again and then converting and compressing it..

okayy interlacey bit seems to have gone all of a sudden but playback on virtualdubmod has gone really slow and the audio sounds as if the singer had a bad case of hiccups(for 4 minutes)

I added some stuff to the script

DirectShowSource("C:\Documents and Settings\Default\My Documents\My Videos\Smile-KH2.3.avi")
ConvertToYV12
Deen("w3d",3,3,5)
TDeint(mode=1)

before I added TDeint it was fine, after I added it the video went slow. And afterwards when I took it off the video was still slow!

maybe its my computer?

be sure to check your settings and make sure the export settings the interleave box is not checked

also check your project settings and make sure it is set as progressive
