Despite that awkward pause Jessica Boone made for Nayuki, this is going to be one interesting performance for the VAs. And from the looks of it, don't expect any "squeal-fests" as it seem the girls voice it at their normal range.

I think, original Kanon series were the very best. Maybe, the only improvement in remake is Yuuichi smarter a little.

Anime News Network actually released the English dub of the first episode of Kanon 2006!

Only guys who reside in the U.S. can watch the free streaming though. I have to say, they gave Nayuki a more "mature" voice so it pretty much is within Jessica Boone's normal range. If you ask me it's actually pretty refreshing since I don't need to hear the English VAs' "imitate" the female Japanese VA high-pitched voice. The same can go with Brittney Karbowski's Ayu though she's able to pull off the cuteness of her quite well. Chris Patton's Yuuichi is very solid as usual.

This is solid stuff so far, and I can't to own the DVD so I can relive this experience again!

I am going to make a Kanon AMV! It's going to be one of those sentimental ones where it shows the progression of the two main characters' (in this case Ayu and Yuichi) relationship.

I really, really don't like Ayu's dub voice. It's kindof a personal preference thing though, she does a good job, I just don't like that choice. Nayuki is fine though, I rather like her, and Yuichi is about as expected.
