  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

During the Akira track I wanted to fucking Kick something because it was fucking terrible. Oh my god.

On the other hand I nearly Came during the kenshin track because it was synched very well and it's one of my favorite anime characters to date. Hmm, let's see, what else?.. The Hajime no ippo track I rather enjoyed. G gundam Is my favorite Gundam series, and it was done decently. Berserk track was pretty cool to. All together not a bad MEP, but eh.

I also should have probably used an audio editing program to make the mix or had someone else do it but then it wouldn't have been how I wanted it. I thoroughly enjoy the MEP and it turned out as good as I believe it ever could considering the medium I used. As we all know though the captain goes down with his ship.
you know I haven't even watched it (dloaded it before work so I'll watch when I get home)but wouldn't it be good if more MEP coordinatorsXparticipants actually responded like this instead of having hissy fits and posting in journals. And I'm not being sarcastic, I think that's one of the best responses I've seen to negative feedback (that wasn't reverse trolling) and it took me off guard actually.

I'll edit later with comments.
new banzors in the making :p

I prefer kev's response actually. And yes, it actually pains me to admit that. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing I was right, the video he linked to actually is better than the MEP.

As far as DaCoolGohan's response at least he knows there were problems. Last thing we need is another 'everything I do is perfect no matter what you guys say' person running around. OTOH it does bring to mind the question of if there were known problems why weren't they fixed?

Overall I really didn't like it all that much. Audio edits were pretty bad.

But the editing overall was great (though I did notice Kev's Witchblade was off-beat as he stated...so not your fault there, I don't think, man).

The ones I enjoyed most were Arashinome's, ZeroLink's and Dark Angel's.

3/5

I'm pretty iffy with it. Some tracks were well done, while others technically worked, but I didn't really feel them. I think my favorite was Zero Link's.

Overall it was good, but not as good as I had originally hoped it would be. Still, nice job guys. :D

mm yeah just like with other rock band MEPs there was a lack of variety here, mainly caused by the audio mix, but it wasn't too bad, I was able to watch it all so 3/5. Pretty much all the tracks just went with beat external synch, I would have liked to have seen more internal synch T_T. And yeah Arash's track was my fave, I thought whoever would edit to RK would just abuse the kenshin vs Saito dojo fight but seeing Sango (thats his name right? havent seen RK in way too long) was a nice touch.

I really enjoyed the mep, even though I hadn't watched any of the anime that were used(I don't really watch that many XD).
The Akira track was my least favorite, although it got better in the end and the Hajime no Ippo and Rurouni Kenshin tracks were my favourites.
The music of the tracks mostly flowed in together well, but some didn't(Akira to the next one comes to mind).
But overall I really enjoyed it and thought it was a job well done.
