Anyone here know about refrences to ancient texts ....

in anime? I know about the dead sea scrolls in eva, the ripley scroll in hellsing, armantage refrences lovecraft (he barely counts but since most of his stuff is based on things he learned from othre occult books I think it should be mentioned.) Anything else?

Actually in regards to text, you have covered all the main ones, but if you were referring to prophetic in nature...There might be a few more...

only 2, and the only reason hellsing was exposed was me. hmm I discovered 50% of the refrences to ancient texts in all anime. I need to celebrate. 8)

there are a few that refer to ancient texts or prophesy in general but regards to documentation such as scrolls and pictures in general I guess you could possibly includes Chobits in an obscure way...

H.P. Lovecraft was a writer of pulp horror novles in the 1930's. His novels inspired many writers in current days... all his novels were set in a mythology of his own design...

Big-O has religious refs in it.

I don't know much about Hellsing, other than the few Catholic Refs in the series... but I only know what I know about Hellsing from my friend who is the voice director for the show and contantly besieged by idiots...

I was referring to the picture hideki was given and the obscure reference to chii...Does anyone else thinks she does those books where done by chii or haven't I seen enough...
