I downloaded this a while ago and really liked it. The flow was nice and you captured the mood of the song pretty well.
Will get the lamv later.

Realms of Inveracity... new definition for awesomeness, IMO. Speechless.

Liked the amv too but there's been so many other extremely well done upbeat videos recently that it didn't stand out in a way that would make me cry out of joy or have an orgasm just watching it. Would rate it somewhere between 4.1 and 4.6.

Ooooh, the psy one was just plain awesome. I found myself grooving along to it as soon as it started. The track was awesome, the footage fit very nice, sync was tight and the text near the end was interesting. I like your experiments. :)

Ok, I think I already wrote you an qc saying that I don't like the anime one. The live action one wasn't bad though, the first half is acutally really a bit strange sceneselectionwise and I can't say I like it. But the 3nd half was awesome, I love how you implemented the visualizations it's like what Requiett did back in 2004 and it had a great touch to it, that plus fucking awesome editing makes it a nice trip for sure. I love the 2nd half, if only all of the video would be like that. :(

Anyway good work. ;)

*edits* the fanservice vid... what I thought you did really well was cleaning your sources so they all had very similar levels of brightness and none of the anime looked very out of place and picked quite a few anime I haven't seen in fanservice vids before, but yeah it's kinda mindless

Live action: umm I can't believe you watched some of those >.<; nice masking on the Doctors coat though
oh, if you didn't notice I changed one word in the topic, so now your post doesn't make as much sense. Sorry  by now I should know not to use that word unless I really mean it. So anyways, thanks for checking it out, and yeah, blending the anime's was a bitch lol
LAMV: you know you liked the cheesy highlander

x_rex30 wrote:it works..
err, I kinda liked that Not another fanservice AMV.
Some parts seemed like you had fun messing with the footage to go along with the audio.
What was the source you used? Some of the footage looked pretty damn clean.
Yeah, I always try to mess around with sync :)
About 90% of the footage was from anime OP/ED so I didn't have to actually watch any of the shows. And I'm glad you mentioned the quality, because I put a lot of care into that. Thanks ;)

CodeChrono wrote:For a fanserice video, it really didn't have much fanservice. Then again, it did say "not another fanservice video".

It was really slow paced for such an upbeat song, but I liked the experimentality of it and I really did like it in the long run. It was just weird getting strange beats where I wan't expecting them.
Good stuff.

4.25/5.00
Interesting thing here. Before this announcement, I had been receiving qc's like "This was a boring fanservice vid. make another action amv" which is not what I intended... so I knew something was wrong... and I changed the title. I think it's much more effective than the crossed out title ^^ [recycle banners ftw] And yeah, some beats might feel strange the first time. Thanks for checking it out :D

well done the good job

I really like to hear that :o

JCD wrote:The Liveaction one was ok I guess. It's just random as fuck, which makes it hard to say anything about it. I liked the music so I didn't ... hm ... mind to watch it :P
lol yeah. I was kinda going for a 'fakeness in movies'/reality theme. Consequently it looks pretty random, and I tried to tie it together near the end.

DayWalker B. wrote:The first one was very sweet indeed. The editing was simply nice overall and I sort of liked how you mixed all those anime shows.
Enjoyable video, keep it up.
yup 8-) the blend is Green Grass, Blue Skies, and all things nice...

LivingFlame wrote:The first video was quite enjoyable. I thought the editing fit the song and mood very nicely (nigh perfectly). I give it 4.25/5. Very well done.

The second one was interesting, to say the least. I liked the song and, as you said, it was quite trippy indeed, which I don't have a problem with. There were a few parts that I thought were a little off-kilter to the rest of the video, but overall I thought it was entertaining.

Keep up the good work.
Really glad you enjoyed them both, and found the Live one quite trippy :D

+ I like the way you edited it. Pretty cool stuff.

The liveaction vid:
Yeah it was soooo random. *shrugs* Mhmya it was too long for me, but somehow it strug me. Something hypnotic. I like it too.
Thanks man ;)
I hope you watched the whole thing though... cause of the way I structured it...

Thanks for the qc. Part of the reason I tried making an upbeat amv is cause of your work.

wow thanks

Yeah, there are a lot of good upbeat videos these days.

Funny thing, the original plan was to make it really fanservicey like ur stuff, but I ended up realizing that some of the best looking footage in anime has a fanservice element to it... so I ended up making Not another fanservice AMV.

Yeah, I figured that was you, and I didn't really expect you to like it that much since it's so different from the rest of my stuff. :P

LAMV: That sounds right, and I realize the first half is much too long, but I had a hard time with the mix. The original song runs for near 8 minutes, and there's already over 20 audio cuts throughout... so I was running short on ways to make the first half more watchable [without overshadowing the second half] Yeah, I've seen Requiett's stuff lol. in a way I consider this my first 'effects' video. Thanks for the feedback ;)

I'm not sure what you mean. It says it in the descriptions.
If you are wondering about playback, I suggest CCCP

I know I tried getting the LAMV multiple times and always canceled the download because it took too much time, i jsut now remember the video and tried downlaoding again and AGAIN I cancelled the download, I just dont wanna spend so much time on a download for a video with this file size.

so I got the Boob one, a few scenes felt off, but it was a nice consolation anyway.

I might ask someone who owns some webspace if he or she would be so kind to upload the video onto his or her server. ;)

yeah, I hate megaupload, but it's a 5 minute video, and impossible as hell to compress; if you watch the whole thing... you'll know what I mean ^^;

Well, you don't have to, but if you know someone who has extra space they're willing to share... I'd be down with that :D
