Spoiler :
while the welcome back festival was going, there was a panning shot of "the wall". this is the same "the wall" which Lulu made that one girl carve a symbol into every day. It appears that Lulu's geass does wear off after some amount of time, and it just happened to be when that girl was halfway done carving the symbol into the wall one day.
Maybe this comes into play somewhere down the line, hmm?
Excellent catch. This could also mean that...
Spoiler :
Lelouch can Geass someone a second time after a certain amount of time. It has been over a year since he Geass'd everyone, afterall.
and that...
Spoiler :
Suzaku is no longer invinsible, having been Geass'd the command "LIVE!" However, that also means that they won't be going into detail to this little plot-device. The only time it came into play was once when he was facing the Chinese Federation and had accepted that he was going to die. His eyes blinked the Geass orange, and nothing else happened after that. In that sense, it would be disappointing if that were true.
I guess this point I made is pretty much invalidated since Suzaku confirmed himself that he is still affected.

Did anyone else think episodes 7 & 8 were kind of boring? As if they put too much effort into episode 6 and as a result had to stretch the next plot point over two eps?

Episode 9.....bwahahaha, oh man!
Spoiler :
The Order of the Black Knights got refuge in China, but they were not out of the woods yet! Schneizel actually planned a counter by having the first prince of Brittania to marry the loli Empress of China thus having Brittania gain control. Li Xingke were not pleased with the news so he and his subordinates planned a coup d'etat and crashed the wedding ceremony. Zero used this opportunity to crash as well and took the empress hostage.
There were a lot of juicy moments like:
Spoiler :
- Oh yeah!!! 8-)

- C.C. and PIZZA!!!

- Milly....DAMN!!!

- Nina gets more screentime and still as psychotic as ever.

- EPIC CHESS MATCH between Schneizel and Zero. This acted more like a psychological game and symbolic since there were a few moves that left me scratching my head.

- The loli empress and Xinghe had a solid past with each other.

- ORANGE LIVES!!!! :o
Next episode we got some pretty complicated giant mech battles going on!
