Audio not showing up in DGIndex

Whenever I open one of the .vob files in DGIndex and click preview, is shows the video perfectly. Yet the entire audio is absent completely. It's completely silent. Now this may be my newbishness at ripping DVDs and such, but what's going on?

DGIndex does not play audio (at least last time I checked). As long as the program says there's audio there, then it's there.

Really? Because it still didn't play in either VirtualDub or the final product; it's only the footage.

you might have dgindex set to discard the audio (check to see that audio, output method is set to something other than disable)

I've never had vdub playback audio either, might want to check your file on some media player.
