How did you host your videos before the Org?

Ok, before you started uploading stuff here, how did you used to distribute/host your videos?

Hawaii's then Waldo's FTP were where I first hosted my videos way back when. That waqs the first place I knew I could upload AMVs so it went there first.

Though when those were down I tried running my own FTP client for my work. . .but it kept killing my bandwith so I had to abandon that.

Before the Dangling Carrot and then the Golden Donut, I was still on a university connection with a decent upstream, so I hosted my own HTTP server (in flagrant violation of the university's terms

On the bright side, if it wasn't for the tube, I probably wouldn't have found the org in the first place.

Thats not real hosting. I had several different webhosts, both free and ones i paid for myself. My first one was terminated for hosting Jesmasters videos because they generated too much traffic -_-

My first host was on dragonballarena.net. That´s the place were I really discovered AMVs before comeing close to the org.
