I think I can guarantee that my videos to Run On, Mum, Sigor Ros, The Swans, Paul Harvey Oswald, Smog and Ida will always be their own representations unless I decide to revisit them myself...

It is probably easier to know what band you want to use than do a search to see how often it has been used...

I feel the same way about looking for Hip Hop and R&B. Not as many of this type are used, but I take in to account that a creator will use the music they listen to the most. Not many favor this type of music, but most of the ones I have seen where done will.

Well, I favor Hip Hop. So I did a video to a kinda hiphop song, but it was done crappy, so it's offline right now. But I'm rippin' DVD footage for the remake of it, and I can't hardly wait to start editing...

I think it's sad that there aren't many Hip Hop AMVs out there. And I don't mean an Eminem one. Remember kids, Eminem != Hip Hop. Eminem == Rap.
That are 2 very different things. I mean, Hip Hop generally is (most) about the lyrics - so it's kinda different to find fitting scenes to it. But I am almost done storyboarding one whole song, so it IS possible.
My favorite Hip Hop is the german MC Torch. I think nobody in here will recognize him, well he's done things with like KRS One and those. But my point is, there is so much message in Hip Hop songs, so one can really fit deep scenes to it... with meaning and all. I try to do this to my best in the video I'm currently makin'.

Hope it was clear what I said, because from time to time my english sucks :|

Yo Aetherfukz,

I did a little of it myself but lots of the rap I did find was very good. You are what about one thing it is hard to macth the lyrics sometimes, it is even harder when they say there names.
