I've got idea for an amv right now, but I don't have any anime that would suit it properly. The theme is "ex machina" (out of the machine) I have a song, but what I need is an anime that has some "factory" type scenes, or a dystopia type feel, just very plodding. an "equalibrium" type feel (if you've seen that movie) would work great. The piece I have is very methodical, starting with a single intstrument play a repetative tune, but it slowly adds layers of other instruments doing the same thing, until all together it becomes a masterful work of art. Aside from this, a dystopian anime would help with another project.
Many thanks.

Thanks Alot for the suggestions, I'm looking into them now.
I've heard of memories and steam boy before, But I've never really looked into them. (and for some reason I thought Ergo Proxy was a comedy o0 ) Some stuff like Gits and metropolis I'd seen, and didn't quite have the feel I was looking for.
Does Kino's journey have any good scenes?
