I NEVER said my m.v.s were the best so I dont know what U guys are talking about. I said Neogohans is one of the best (www.neogohan.cjb.net) and I have only been making 'em for half a year! I have also made a Final Fantasy M.V. a long time ago

I don't care if he lives in the Vatican and plays a mean bass guitar to boot!

If those allegedly awesome videos don't come in any flavor other than Real Media, I may not want to bother getting them. I don't think it's a nice format, thanks to the restrictiveness and schizophrenic nature of Real Player. I know I'm not alone in this opinion.

What's wrong with trying WMV? You still get the compression and file size, and it's more widely accepted within AMV circles. You might get some people from here who're willing to give you and your recommendations the time of day.

I still think y'all would be well-served by looking into XviD.

Oh, this is too rich... of the three DBZ videos on NeoGohan's site, two of them are also available in MPEG!

I guess he has some semblance of intelligence...now to download 'em and see if he has skill with editing.

NeoGohan has actually been around a while. I met him at AWA, along with the rest of la familia. Very cool guy Image I recommend his "What You Got" video. And of course, XviD all the way ;)

dude...WMV sucks?....hahhahha....My friend sent me a WMV video that he made....The fact that it was DBZ and linkin park doesn't matter at this point but the quality was excellent....A 3:50 minute video brought down to 16 megs at 352 by 240 resolution...Quality was GOOD and it even looked good full screen...Audio had that sound that annoys me in WMV though but that's just the compression format....

Why am I trying to argue with someone who steals footage from other peoples videos?....Bah...ohhh well...

Rozard: the NeoGohan video I got was a well-edited DBZ video. It wasn't anything spectacular--that is to say, it was a perfectly competent AMV, but nothing about it made it stand out. For a garden-variety DBZ video, it was quite good.

---

Again, regarding .rm files--I don't want to get Real Player because the software is spastic. I have never had much success using the program, as it is too invasive and freezes far too often if it isn't handled like a weak kitten.

I have has no such problems with WMV, and find it to be a good deal more forgiving and versatile than .rm files.

At best, we must agree to disagree on this because I have no intention of going out of my way to get Real Player (its being free is not the issue--colds and flu are free and I don't want them either) and you have no intention of switching to a more accepted format, even if it means fewer people care about the videos you continue pimping.
