MACOnvention AMV Contest (Austria)

For all who know that some songs seems to only be written for making an AMV with it:

The MACOnvention takes place in Linz, Upper Austria.

Date: 25. - 27. July 2008

As the Convention takes place as an official event for the first time the homepage is only in german. So are the rules for the contest.

Here is a short summary in english:

There are 3 categories, 1 winner for each category:

* Technical - e.g. good fades, great timing, well-done synchronisation, ...
* Originality - e.g. creativity and presentation of your idea
* Atmosphere - e.g. choose the right scenes for your music, use the right fades, ...

Codecs:
Container: Avi, MPG, Mp4, wmv
Videocodec: DivX, XVID, H264, mpeg2
Audiocodec: Mp3, Wave, AAC, mp2

Deadline: 7th July 2008, 23:59

The participating AMV mustn't be published before the contest.

Yeah.... I was waiting for this since Bauzi told me of it, I'm gonna try my best though I can't promise anything. If I send a video in, I'll be most likely at the convention too =)
