AWA 14 PRO CONTEST
Ladies and gents! Just a friendly reminder that the deadline for the year's AWA PRO contest is less than a month away! It's coming at us like a bat outta hell, and we wanna make sure that everyone clears the tracks before anyone gets flattened!
Most commonly asked questions:
1. When is the deadline?
JULY 18!!! For heaven's sake man, let's get things moving!
2. What's so special about this contest?
PEER JUDGED. You send us your entry, we compile it onto a blind juding disc, and send it back out again. Everyone who enters gets to judge the entries online, determining the winners!
3. But how do we get these judging discs?
Either send us blank discs, or NEW THIS YEAR, we make the whole thing available to contestants by download!
4. Can we only send one entry to the contest?
NO! This year you can send TWO! So feel free to send us a trippy experimental piece as well as a crowd-pleasing "sure win." You might be surprised which one gets more notice!
5. But it all has to be new material, right? These are all premier videos, right?
NO! We don't care where your vids have been shown or competed in contests before! You can still compete with "old" material in Pro! The only exception is if your vid has competed AT AWA before. (The only contest we have that insists on premiers is MASTERS'.)
Hope that clears things up! Now get out there! Spread the word! Run through the streets screaming PRO IS COMING! PRO IS COMING! EVERYONE RUN GET YOUR SOURCE FOOTAGE!

Everybody needs to enter this year :O Last year there were only like 45+ videos. As opposed to the 90+ just 2 years prior and even more before that. Each year its been going down. Pro used to be the end-all-be-all of AMV contests. Lets bring it back to its former glory plzkthx.

I submitted my two videos, as well.
Even with the smaller submission base last year, it was still a pretty strong contest. I can't wait to see what this year's contest will be like.
