Well again, don't get me wrong. I agree with your sentiment, but the general feeling I get is one that discourages folks from entering things that they've premiered. We're not disrespecting those who run the contest, we're just saying what we like about how most people like to try and keep it as blind as possible. Hense why I said it would probably never be strictly blind (it's their contest to run as they like, and they'd get less entries >_>).

As I said near the top of this post, I think it's b/c of the general vibe of discouraging older videos from even entering.
