14 seconds done...

Scene selection can be difficult for such a simple video. :x

I see brad is already egging / taunting me... ah the rants in the old days were funny. I have for sure mellowed over the years, but I guess a 5+ year break can do that to you. I will just be happy to make the finals of a major contest now as the level of competition has really gone up. I hope my wife's entry in the awa pro contest will make the cut... I assume they don't show them all anymore as that would be impossible now?

As far as AWA yep I think my wife and I will be in attendance. I can't believe the hotel is already sold out! suckage...

This new mellow image can be fixed. You need only submit Freak Show Part 4.

I still laugh that Akon ever showed those... I think I am the first ever to get a letter from a musician to take a video down (Prince) and to get a con almost sued (akon + freakshow).

in regards to submissions for AWA who is there a technical guy I can contact? I was going to encode the video using apple's compressor program and output to a 16:9 dvd file. Originally I saw that it said to do hard letterbox, but then I looked at the detailed entry form and it said you can submit 16:9... so I want to make sure the file I submit works / is kosher.

That would be me. The older playback software quu wrote required hard letterboxing but I've written new software that doesn't have that limitation (btw, if there's anyone else out there using Netstreams and would like to beta test the software, let me know). Accordingly we've opened the contests (except SAST) to wide format content.

If there's anything else let me know at vattechnical@gmail.com
