I'm with Niotex on this. For me, it's not as bad as he's describing, but it definitely needs more work with the transitioning. Good transitioning means a smoother flow on the overall project and assures that it keeps the viewers attention. Which is very necessary considering MEP's are usually over the ten minute mark, and a lot of people have little patience for work that's not up to par.

I'm not saying it's terrible, just that some of the transitions are very obvious. I know it's difficult to perfect it, but at least get it to the point where the viewer doesn't pay attention to the song switch. A possible suggestion would be to grab the Beta Cessions off Amazon.com which has the instrumental versions of all the songs. Which would enable you to use pieces from the song(s) to maybe overlap the transition therefore making it more definitive. Of course there's other methods of making good use of it, but that's not what I'm getting at. Just throwing the idea of using more resources out there.

Now I realize that the mix is something to take up with the mixer, but being the coordinator and all I figure that's more of your responsibility.

If you decide to make changes and they're good, I'll probably participate. Good luck with it!

Alright...Well, with now 4 people saying they dislike the mix. I guess I'm going to need to do something about it. Thanks for the advice NOS, I'll see what I can do.

You people might not want to start on your tracks yet if he's redoing the mix.. I'm listening to the mix now, i'll edit with comments.

One the front page you should put the times each tracks takes place in so it's easier to follow.. I mean, it's not hard to figure it out if you're familiar with the music, but to people who aren't, the different tracks may not always be obvious.

I agree with what was said by the other people. It needs work.

Now on to my question: Why the fuck are these in zip archives? I put mine for my MEP in zip archives, but I also included the Notepad document with the lyrics... Here there is no reason to have these files zipped. Now I have to go through and unzip these files for absolutely no reason.

They're zipped because the Walkure server doesn't allow .mp3 files to be uploaded to their server, and for that reason...I needed to zip them.

Does that answer you question?
