Yeah, it was just surprising to me that the addition of that one filter really kicked the processing speed in the teeth. :/

On the bright side, even with crawling, I think the footage still looks better than anything I could have downloaded.

It's not that it's getting deinterlaced with a shear, it's that it was interlaced that way. :( The deinterlacer is just giving you the best it can, blame the producer for messing up the printing process and shifitng the frames slightly somehow.

On the bright side, at least I thought of shear being a possibility. :P It's just driving me crazy because it's not consistent. Some things look FABulous. Some things are pure hell. Going to try to push it through a commercial ripper and see what the results look like, just for shits n' giggles.
