If it is lagarith than it would be a waste to do a beta for the track since I can only use Huffy.
It may be huffy or lagarith.
Edit:

I will do a beta for track 13 but not sure of the anime yet

what frame size should we use?

did you have some kind of idea for switching between 848 sources and 640 sources?

because fatal frame looks pretty crappy in 848 lol

@Undeadborn

What I think you should do, is allow both. Then if an 848 x 480 track ends and goes to a 640 x 480 track, you should move the borders. Like, animate the borders before the 848 track ends and then switch to the 640 track. That way the size is still 848, which is superior IMO and in a lot of people's opinion I'm sure. Plus a lot of people have probably already used 848 anyways. So if you do it the way I suggested I'm sure people will like that much more than pan/scanning their wide sources to ugly fullscreen.

But a width-letterboxing isn't a little strange? And videogames for example, videos are normaly 16:9 with letterbox (in my case, with mgs twin), and the max quality that you can get from analog source is 640x, then you need to apply zoom to remove this height-letterboxing. To use 848 and mix it with 640, it will be a too different relation.

what do you think?

oh, ok, joey thinks we should do 640x with letterbox, that works too, that way no one has to upsize any footage, so fullscreen do 640x480 and widescreen 640x360 with the letterbox added to make it 640x480?

that works if you are gonna animate the borders still when the ar changes between tracks?

Of course that I'll animate the borders between tracks, but if your footage is 16:9 for example, you can take advantage of 4:3 and make some original (for example I made that in "my way" track)

The problem is that the most of the source that we use is a good quality 16:9 and we use analog source for videogames, then I think that isn't correct to upsize the videogame footage to fit it to 848.

Another possibility is to make it in 640x360, but I think that then is better to use 640x480 cuz it's really the same and 640x480 is a good standard.

I'm only talking about it, I want to know what do you think about (all of you).

personally I think 640x480. Because if someone's source is 360 then we can just add borders...so...

I vote 640x480 :D
