I believe the subs from fansubs where the editor is too lazy to take them out is where most people get pissed off about them.

I saw a good Scrapped Princess AMV with Evanescence's "Tourniquet" that included some of the original Japanese dialogue in the instrumental parts of the song, in order to establish and advance the plot, and the editor subtitled those lines. But, of course, it was clear that they weren't just already-existing digisubs, as the footage was clean enough that you could tell it was from DVD source.

just wondering, since the decomb update, what would you enter into the .avs script to determine the field order for North American or Japanese DVDs?
