It is its own video. Seriously stop the comparisons lol.
Nowadays, no one can watch an amv without comparing it to something.

First of all congrats on the win and hurray for the 60fps
I liked the beginning but the rest of the video was okay. I just felt like the video needed some more of those red luminate blending colour u had at the beginning and aswell as some part of the video. My biggest complain would probably be the anime choices. The EF footage stood really out with it's animation compare to the others u could've at least used some blending to make it look different somehow. Transitions was alright but could've been better. Overall I still dig ur style

Of course it's wrong. But look - the same editor makes very, very similar vid, with the same concept, editing style, FXs, song genre, blahblah, for another edition of the same contest. How not to compare?Goketsu wrote:x3 to thatChiikaboom wrote:x2Garridy wrote:Its not a sequel.

I pretty much agree with JCD, but then again, I don't generally like "dance" videos at all, so that helps I suppose S:JCD wrote:Hmm... Sorry Xavier, I didn't really get into this.
Reusing the same basic concept from Magic Pad is not a bad idea, I just felt it didn't work out as well as the former did. The song is much less upbeat and gives much less oppurtunities to create a good flow. It worked really well in the louder, melodic parts of the song, but it seemed like you had some problems with the vocal parts. It was still extraordinarily good until the 4th minute, but Nono lipsynching there just blew it, that just totally didn't fit. It seems like you completely ran out of ideas and scenes there.
Not to talk only negative, the 60 fps worked really well for the video to give it extra smoothness, which really makes me consider editing in this framerate as well. Some parts was pretty awesome, what especially comes into my mind are the scenery shots without characters.
Maybe it just needs to grow a bit on me more. But unfortunately I don't like the song, which makes it hard :/

You simply shall avoid judging the creator for his past videos, and just focus on the video you're currently watching .» AceMan wrote:Prove me wrong plz
Uhh, I just realized my quote on Scorpion's comment is a misunderstanding from me (Note to myself: learn to read english accurately ...).
Now, important note:
I noticed that on computers a bit out-of-date, the 720p@60fps version is a bit hard to handle and MediaPlayerClassic player then is going to slow down the video to process all images => the video start to desynchronize with the sound then!
But VLC player, in case of reaching the computer limitation, just skip some frames, and keep the video well-synchronized. It's really noticeable for some scenes and lip sync.
So everyone, please rather use VLC for this video.

hmm weird the lipsync on the 60 fps version seemed perfect on my ps3 o.o but when I played it on my computer it seemed off, kinda like the audio was off pace with the video. It could just be my media player can't handle it
but then I watched the 30 fps one and it was perfect o.O weird
Edit: nevermind it was just my media player
